The APC Back-UPS Pro 900 (BR900MI) is a high-performance uninterruptible power supply designed to provide reliable backup power and surge protection for home and office electronics. With a capacity of 900VA/540W, this tower-style UPS safeguards critical devices such as computers, routers, external storage, game consoles, and other sensitive equipment.
The built-in LCD interface offers real-time status updates, including load and battery bar graphs, making it easy to monitor UPS performance. Audible alarms notify users of changes in utility power and UPS conditions, ensuring prompt response to power events.
Equipped with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), the BR900MI corrects voltage fluctuations without switching to battery power, extending battery life and maintaining consistent output. The unit is line-interactive, delivering stepped approximation to a sinewave output, and supports a transfer time of 10–12 ms. The user-replaceable lead-acid battery has a typical life of 3–5 years with a recharge time of 12 hours, and at a 100W load the UPS provides up to 42 minutes of runtime.
Connectivity includes six IEC C13 outlets for multiple devices and USB interface compatibility for enhanced management.
Measuring 19 x 9.1 x 31 cm and weighing 7.1 kg, the BR900MI is compact and easy to install. It operates within a wide voltage range of 176–294V to support stable operation in varied conditions.
The product is certified to multiple standards and features packaging made with at least 70% recycled cardboard. Its total lifecycle carbon footprint is 288 kg CO2 equivalent with a recyclability potential of 62%. The removable battery design facilitates maintenance and recycling.
